Situated in the heart of Naxos Town, just a breath away from all points of interests, it is an ideal, central and relaxing accommodation to start exploring the island of Naxos and the other islands of Cyclades.
“Castle Mansions” is located at the foot of the historical Castle, just 30 meters from the main road of the harbor and 500m from the Saint George beach, one of the best and well organized beaches on the island.
Naxos Town (or Hora) is the capital and main port of Naxos Island. On its top stands the impressive Venetian Castle and north of the port you will see “Portara”, the symbol of the island. There are plenty of places to visit, the Archeological Museum, the islet of Palatia, the Venetian Castle, Grotta’s archaeological site, the Old Market area.
Naxos Town is lively and pleasant with picturesque alleys, white houses in the characteristic Cycladic architecture, all around the historical Castle. In the port area and walking through the alleys of the old town you will find various fine restaurants, traditional cafes, seaside bars, where you could enjoy wonderful Greek food and chill out. Relax in the town seafront, enjoy the magnificent sunset and shopping at the beautiful shops of the Old Market. There are also most of the important features, like banks, bus or taxi departures and travel agencies.
Naxos Island is filled with over 40 kilometers of beautiful long sandy beaches and crystal-like waters. Saint George beach is the closest to the capital beach, but there are many more beaches to visit, such as Agios Prokopios, Plaka, Orkos and Mikri Vigla.
A lot of traditional villages, including Apiranthos, Filoti, Sangri, Halki, Apollonas and Koronos, each one with its own history, style and character, enrich the island of Naxos and are waiting to be discovered.
